On June 3, 2005, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) mandated that all internet phone service providers interconnected to the public switched telephone network offer e911 as a standard element of their residential and business offerings.
The Federal Universal Service Fund subsidizes telephone service in rural and low-income areas. On June 21, 2006, the FCC voted unanimously to require all interconnected Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services that connect to the public-switched telephone network to contribute to this Fund (USF). This tax changes every quarter.
No. No contract, so no early termination fees. Contact our customer service team and we'll cancel service immediately or on a preferred date. This does not cover potential number porting fees if additional assistance is required for migration away.

International numbers take 7-21 days to be added to your account, depending on the country.

Quik CloudVoice is cloud-based, so no on-premise PBX or servers to install. Once purchased, you can begin receiving calls immediately.
Technical support specialists are available to guide you through the process of provisioning (configuring) your phones for Quik CloudVoice and managing your phone system.
Additional telephone lines, PBX hardware or installation materials are not required. Quik CloudVoice will work with any high-speed, stable internet connection and requires a minimum of 64 kbps of bandwidth per call. A router is required to make the internet connection available to your phones/devices.
For best voice quality, we recommend a router with QoS (Quality of Service) enabled. QoS prioritizes the voice traffic over other internet traffic, which should provide better voice quality when your internet is being used for other activities (e.g., downloading large files, watching online videos, etc.). Learn more here.
To ensure voice traffic can flow through your network router, we recommend enabling port triggering from within your router’s configuration pages.
UDP ports: 5060, 7000 & 16384-32768
Since Quik CloudVoice is in the cloud and available online, the only equipment you need in your office are the IP phones, possibly a Power over Ethernet switch and the router with internet connection.

A paging group is a group of devices and/or desk phones that can receive a paging call. This allows for live announcements to be made to multiple desk phones and/or overhead paging devices, usually covering certain areas of a building (e.g., “Warehouse” or “2nd Floor”). Paging groups have an extension, but cannot make or receive two-way calls.
Paging is supported by the following phones on Quik CloudVoice:
Paging is a one-way broadcast to one or multiple devices/users. Intercom is two-way communication between two devices/users.

For the best quality, we recommend using IP (SIP) phones. It is possible to connect analog phones using an analog telephone adapter or ATA.
This device connects your analog phone to your network router or switch and registers to Quik's servers, allowing you to use your phone.
Yes, most SIP IP phones can be used with Quik CloudVoice. They may need to be unlocked by your original provider and will require manual configuration.
Please note: Our support team will not be able to troubleshoot or configure IP phones purchased from another vendor. We recommend customers use our preconfigured IP phones.
Currently, we do not sell hardware as a separate item. If you need to replace an existing phone and is within one year of purchase from Quik, you can do so by contacting customer service.
Yes, Quik offers fully supported cordless phones. If you wish to use one of your own analog cordless phones, you will need an ATA to connect it to the network and to Quik CloudVoice.
